Being with you
Sets me free.
I am safe and content
But you hurt me.
You said all those things,
Judged me as unworthy, demented
Ridded me of your life.
I knew I was in the wrong
But never was it purposeful.
Now you come back
Expecting it to be tolerable.
I long for that safe freedom.
But you no longer hold that.
You set that free when you did the same to our friendship.
You claim to have said all of those things
In defense for yourself.
But at that time, I was attempting to right the wrongs.
You would not stop the slandering, the insults
You kept throwing them.
Pounding me into the land of misery.
Dirt sealing my eyes shut.
I must have thought it wasn't you.
Your dead body & another's hateful soul.
I deceived myself.
That's why I let you back in,
To hurt me again.
Like I hurt you.
You're just as sick as you say I am.
You want to start the cycle again.
That's just
Running with Scissors.
