Author's Note
Writing this story was a lot of fun. Up until this point I'd been having terrible writer's block, so I decided to slow down and write something fun without so much conflict. This was the product. It is one of my proudest works to date.
I hope that everyone was satisfied with the way the story ended. Something that caught my attention was how in almost every review the reader would praise how perfect Bobby was and how they wished they could find someone like him. There are many guys like Bobby, but you must take into consideration that Bobby was nowhere near perfect. He had his flaws, just like Amanda had hers, and his big breakdown was one of his truest moments. Also consider the reason he went to the Outer Banks; it wasn't entirely because he wanted to get away with Amanda. Mostly it was because he was running away from his problems. Oh well, anyway, just wanted to give my overview of Bobby's character to explain why he reacted the way he did. (And I must've written something wrong because a lot of people thought he had to choose between Amanda and soccer, and in my mind that wasn't ever the case).
I thank each and every person who read and reviewed this story. It was fun to hear people's thoughts and comments on it as the relationship progressed. I received far more reviews than I'd expected, and thanks again to all of you readers. Special thanks goes out to Julie (Nehemiah) who inspired me to keep going with this story and to always keep writing.
I practice the method of completion before posting because my hot off the press stuff may not fit into the story the way I like, I may need to cut something, etc. So look for my next story to drop in about a month or two, depending on how busy I get.
