It had all began with a single kiss. A warm, soft, tender kiss on the lips. And just like that. BAM! He won her over. Two young lovers holding hands as they walked down the croncrete streets. One smaller, one taller, one younger, one older. The girl feeling his gentle clasp in hers. Watching the bright glares of pink and blue neon lights and staring up on the murky grey heavens searching for a star. They found none only the flashing signs and ads, obscuring their vision and turn towards each other in laughter. She slips closer to him feeling the soft warmth of his body. The wet sidewalks are slick and glisten in puddles beneath their feet. Shuffling, their white shoes and glancing nervously at each other, the boy slips his hand around her waist and leans over to breathe in the sweet scent of her hair.

She is beautiful butterfly, dressed in blue stretch jeans and pastel pink shirt. Her long black hair wavy in the wind and her large opium eyes entrance him. Her touch stinges his skin as he pulls her closer. The fragrant aroma of lilacs is beyond intoxicating.

Walking side by side they taking in the scene, drinking in garish lights, grey building walls, hard concrete floor, and the soft swirling breeze. The wind ruffling the fine golden hair of the boy and kissing his burnished bronze skin. In silence they walk down the length of the street, saying nothing, but at peace with the feeling of one. With tightly clasped hands, their smiles burst in a rainbow symphony of thousand vibrant colors, rises up into the heavens, and paints the sky with stars.
