I wish Salvation could chase away all tragic shadows
And to rise up from Earth's bowels
To straighten slightly bent halos
And autumn tears sweet sorrows and lay lows

I wish for Salvation to come to me
And to see everything that I see
I wish Salvation will hear all cries
And clear my vision from all deceits and lies

I wish Salvation could cure my wounds
And play the Earth a claming tune
I wish Salvation will always be here
To protect all that I hold dear

And last, Salvation, I wish for you to come and stay
To banish and take my fears away
To give me wings a sweet, calm, gray
And love me forever and a day.
