My Three Gods
Author:
Gleechumber PM
It's about different views on the God which I believe exists... basically stating that nothing can be perfect, blah blah blah. I promise it's better than I've made it sound.

My Three Gods

I believe in a God,
Who loves beyond pain,
I believe in a God,
Who dries up the rain,
I believe in a God,
Who holds us all tight,
I believe in a God,
Who does what is right.

But the God that I see,
Is unjust and unfair,
The God that I see,
Does not end despair,
The God that I see,
Does not draw us near,
The God that I see,
Rules people with fear.

And the God that I want,
Is a father, a friend,
The God that I want,
Knows how all this ends,
The God that I want,
Is not loved by a few,
He is loved by us all,
And He loves us back, too.
