Let the rain

Fall

Let the birds

Call

Let the darkness

Spread out.

Let the robin

Sing

Let the phone

Ring

Let the light in the village

Remember the past.

Recall those times,

When the leaves were falling

And we sat around to look

Remember those days

When the sun would start shining

And we’d feel it beating among ourselves…

Let the dark

Fall

Let the light

Sprawl

Let the days of our past come back

Let our souls

Sing

Let our ears

Ring

With those pastimes we’ve long forgot.
