words swirling through my mind like chocolate mousse
swirling, twirling, lost in these sensations
eyes closed, utter bliss
lips on lips and lips on skin and skin on lips and skin on skin
the beauty of our hearts melding together
fusing into one, your heart doesn't lie
pulsing gently, one by one
thoughts go careening off the edge of sanity
words flicker bright, sounds echo thinly
ears open but deaf and blind
I reach out to touch
but I find that there's only
emptiness.
Your heart is impure, but you gave it anyway
You knew I would take it
And the beauty leaves your throat
in a guttural cry of the savior within
my mind spirals away
away
away
and we're at peace again.

A/N: Finished 3 minutes before midnight tonight. So much...emotion. It was
just spiraling in my mind. I had just finished reading several Weiss Kreuz
fics, and it was after Xellas M.'s "Multifoliate Rose" that I decided to
write this. At the end of her fic, she inserted TS Elliot's "The Hollow
Men," which spawned this jumble of thought. It really felt like my
consciousness was spiraling away. ^^;;

I wrote this with my eyes closed, for the most part, and only toward the
end is there real capitalization and end punctuation. There are parts that
I probably would have punctuated/capitalized, but I didn't because I was
lazy and my fingers didn't feel like stretching that far lol. But, I will
not go back and change them, because I don't want to get rid of the magic.
Corny, I know, but if it was written that way from a whim, it should
remain. Poetry is all about being written on a whim, don't you agree?

Haha, just titled it, 8 min after midnight. I looked at the "---" I input
as the title for the time being, and immediately I thought "With Eyes";
"Shut Tight" came after a moment's thought. It wasn't necessarily supposed
to correlate to how I wrote it lol.
