Chocolate's Wish
Bright chocolate eyes fluttered open
Awake to world's surroundings once again
Running a hand through long black hair
Sitting up from the bed only to look out the window
Sunlight reflected through the clear thin glass
A beautiful day it sure was
Brown orbs cast down upon a framed photo
Soon crystalline tears threatened to fall
By instinct a hand wiped the tears away
Yet those deep brown pools never looked away
Two long years have already passed
And he wasn't back... he was never coming back
Tears were too strong and fell on her lap
Followed by soft sounding sobs from the crying girl
Too much to bear, to much to be kept locked inside
Her eyes trailed over to the water drops on the floor
She always thought that drops of water were just drops of water
Underestimating its strong power within
Yet now it has come to haunt her day and night
Keeping her apart from the one man she sought
Never had she felt so much pain within
So unbearable to the heart, so disastrous to her sanity
Two long years of acting strong has brought her this far
For two long years her smile has gone
She longed to clutch him tight
To hold him in her arms
Longing to look deep into intense sapphire eyes
Wishing for the taste of lips that created a mark in her mouth
Again her chocolate eyes laid upon the portrait of her love
With her in his arms, how happy they were
Yet now those times are just a memory in her mind
Never to repeat itself, never to come back.
Sighing sadly she walked over to her desk
And sat down on the chair
Picking up a pen and writing the title to her poem
The title.
Chocolate's Wish.

So um. was it nice or did it suck big time? I was supposed to add why the
guy would never come back, but decided its more fun for readers to guess!
It's actually pretty obvious, and I'd be surprised if no one guessed it!
And about the title, Chocolate is actually the girl, if ever you are
wondering. The ending is a bit confusing, or in Filipino, my native
language, "malabo". But I hope you enjoyed it anyway. And remember to
review! And also as a reminder, REMEMBER THIS PENNAME! Why? Because I will
be posting more stuff and maybe even my story! Thankies! =)
