GRAPHITE LOVE

are you in graphite love?

teetering on the edge of the tip of the --
so much depends on the
sharpened pencil,
sketching thinfinelines
across the p-
a-
ge. defining point-to-point.
CLEARLY. with no room for
errors. with no room for
the lines that run freely and WILDLY.
blunt and coarse and
hard to erase.

so what if your nib breaks?
you always shave off those undesirable extras and go for
that little something else
cleancut, perhaps you sharpen; shape
a minimalistic approach to everything.
meticulous and
pickychoosy.
RESTRAINED (refined)
circled sheets with angular borders
demand for more.

CRUSHCRUMPLECRR
"aren't you in graphite love?"
draw like you'll combust to carbon.
