An Angel

I am in the presence of an angel
whose aura is light gold.
His eyes are dark ambers,
that speak love for me alone.
His air is that of kindness,
and his words bear warmth and joy.
His touch is soft, gentle, and tender,
though his strength is anything but.
He has a rough outer shell,
yet, I can sense his soul is smooth.
I am the only one who can see him,
though his light is very strong.
His eyes stare straight to mine,
and I know, I am safe there.
He speaks words that only I can hear,
and that no one else will understand.
May he be the one who can show me all I need in life?
May he be the one to set me free?
Show me happiness, love, warmth, kindness, ecstasy?
I can only believe it's true.
He can see that my heart and soul are full of kindness, love, and purity.
He knows my darkest secrets,
though I have said not a word.
Can he be the one who was sent to fill the loneliness in my heart?
Nothing could make me more certain of this fact,
for it is from the deepest depths of my heart.
I'm in the presence of an angel,
whose name is for me to keep.
I'm in the presence of an angel,
who can soothe my every doubt.
I'm in the presence of an angel,
and forever in his presence will I be,
safe,
comforted,
and loved.
