Where the earth meets the sky,
it is present, enshrined between solid past
and vaporous future.

This is a place of infinite majesty
where the droplet passes through
on its melancholy course. It barely registers
as it sails through time, to be lost to the world.

And I know that should I ever need to find you,
I need only look due East
at daybreak,
where Earth meets Sky.
