Hellfire

Your talons

Dig deep into my flesh

Your heart

Cold as ice

Lunges for me

As I cower

For fear that it will pierce me

With a fashion

None other than darkness

I pray

With my heart

Reaching out

Towards the sky

I weep

Screaming ‘I’d rather die’

And then

The spirits have mercy

And bring me

Back to my senses

Where I know I’m safe

From ever having to go to hell

Ever again.
