Little Child

Little child we wait for you

Will it be a day or two?

You sit tight in your mother’s womb

With darkness like a pharaoh’s tomb

All of your family can’t wait to see

Arguing “No he will look like me”

Lots of love is out here for you

There is lots of it between us few

We have the room nice and clean

We have dogs that are not at all mean

Lots of bottles for you to eat from

Just put away and waiting for you to come

In a while you will be here

When that days comes I will hold you near

Bursting is what I am about to do

For the anticipation of seeing you

When that’s day comes I have no clue

So Little child we wait for you

This is for my little Nephew who is taking his time and torturing us to.
