That Girl

She's lost her grace,
She's hiding her face.
She wants to run away,
No longer comes out to play.
Plays with hair that's curled,
She hates this cruel world.
She will never crawl,
And still loves her doll.
She's afraid of boys,
And still plays with toys.
Who's that girl?
That little lonely pearl.
She's a fearful little loner,
Not afraid of the cloner.
She always cries,
And yet she always dies . . .
That girl is me,
She's what I'll always be.
