A little seed
So kindly encouraged by warmth and wet
Began her journey upwards,
Hoping to see the sun.

A little wet
Too soon after her journey began
Brought her down
Delayed process.

A little growth
As the right wet and warmth encouraged her
Still sometimes trampled
And weeping.

A little sun
The worst is over, or so she hopes
Until the rain— but she lives
And grows stronger.

A little teen
So new to this world, to sharing herself,
Beaten down, but undefeatable
As the seed, eventually becomes a woman.
