Author's Note: I wrote this song late one night when I couldn't go to sleep. Just to let you know, it is totally irrelevant to me and my life.
It's all about the pressures of being a teenager in high school.

Personality

Don't like me for my looks,
But for how I think
I don't want to have sex,
Or do drugs or drink
I want you to like me
For my personality

I always walk around
With my nose in a book
I don't want you to notice,
But I still see you look
You may think I'm weird,
But it's my own simplicity

I see you foolin' around
With those popular girls
It makes me so sick,
I feel like I'm gonna hurl
'Cuz you only like them
For their slutty reputations

And you dump them in a week
After you got what you need
Then you find another girl
Who will easily believe
The lies that you tell her
Without an explanation

But after all of these years
Your heart has turned cold,
Empty and shallow
From your being so "bold"
And using girls
As if they were toys

I've tried to help you,
But I know I have failed.
You still don't know love,
However fragile or frail
You still chase after girls
Like you are a young boy

I'm leaving you now
For I strongly believe
As much as I love you,
You'll never love me.
You only want me
For my new-found beauty

Don't want me for my looks,
But for how I think
I don't want to have sex,
Or do drugs or drink
I only want you to love me
And my personality.
