Forsaken Souls

All around the world people grieve
As one by one the souls leave
The earth is bathed in the tears
Shed by every child's fears

Dreams begin to dissolve away
People loose sight of the day
Wandering all alone in this place
Hiding behind a lie on their face

Our innocence is easily scattered
When everything lays shattered
We give in to our weakness
Lost in our personal darkness
