This was written somewhere between July 8th and July 11th of 2003. Apparently I wasn't too sure of the date when I scratched it into my notebook. grins I don't think I've posted it here yet, and although it isn't one of my bests, it's also not a complete failure. I'll try and have something newer up soon.

May it rain down upon thee,
An acidic shower
Bringing bitter, false release.
May it scorch your skin,
Melt your bones,
And leave you a bubbling mass on the floor.
May you slowly dissolve,
Spreading yourself thin
And seeping into countless minute cracks.
May you suffer,
And in doing so
Finally set me free.
