Who Am I?

I wander these empty halls

I look upon these dark walls

Footsteps echoing in my wake,

To find past memories, entirely fake

Numerous doors lead to temptation

Revealing shadows of cruel sensation,

I look ahead toward the end,

A door opening ready to mend;

My heart of stone, my mind of steel,

My past forgotten, bled to heal,

Breaking through barriers of time,

Shedding light on my past crime

Staring into reflections of old,

Eyes reflected, lifeless and cold,

With feelings I’d once delayed,

I recognised whom I’d betrayed

A lost soul stood, so I could see

Who was it? It was me.
