I wish that you would just leave me alone

Leave me alone to be free

I can't be what you want

I can only be me

That I cannot think what I have to do

I am not the perfect person

You can't boast that either

But you should accept

If we can't agree to disagree

Then we should just not talk at all

Because if we do, you're going to see

That I am not happy at all

I can't go through life

Hating myself because you do

I can't be what you want

If I can't help the way I am

And you won't accept it

Then I guess we are fated

To be against it

If you love me at all

Please let me go

And catch me if I fall

Let me learn from my mistakes
