A/N This poem was written in a very short time as an agreement between nick- wordsmith and myself as we sat in English literature, bored, and watching a flock of crows outside the window. So maybe if you read this you can read nick-wordsmith as well.( Thanks.

Their harsh cries surround my ears, deafening me for a small instant. It rings and echoes in my head, awakening myself to my dangerous surroundings. They swoop down trying to intimidate me. Their claws outstretched. Waiting for the moment in which to strike. I cower, suddenly very scared. They hold a power over me as I stare, entranced in their cruel beauty. They are truly evil creatures. Imagining a portrait of a broken earth, in tatters. Left for their kind to scavenge. They live for our death.
