Why Did You Have to Leave?
Why did you have to leave me here,
Alone to face life with all my tears?
Why did you have to go away?
Why can't we go back to yesterday?
Do you know of the hurt you place?
Of the pain that fills the empty space?
Did you know the day you left,
You'd be faced with uncertain death?
I've never been this sad you know.
I'm fruitless tree covered with snow.
You took the happiness in my life,
Replacing it with sadness and never-ending strife.
I love you always I'll love you more,
And you'll be in my heart forevermore.
