Oh metallic bird
Soaring high above the clouds
Carry me heavenwards
Thy comforting lull
Of working engines
Thy mechanical wings
Set me free.
You show me a new world
Of cotton candy and wispy wool.
The sunlight glints
On your majestic form.
You carry me homeward
Home to my family
Home to my man
You will reunite me with home.
Hear this my tribute
Metallic bird
Hear my words of peace.
