"I can't believe that we're actually here!" Shouted Jamie with excitement. "Well, you better believe it girl." Mentioned Sarah. Jamie and Sarah had been best friends since they we're little, and had been saving up for an Alaskan cruise for about 2 years. They had made the reservations with 3 other friends, Scott Bishop who was about 5'9 and had brown hair and gray eyes and was Sarah's boyfriend, Heather Rink, who was tall and thin and brainy. She wore glasses and red curly hair and baby blue eyes. And there was Jeremy Fisher, who was Heather's boyfriend. He was 6'0 with black straight hair and dark brown eyes. Sarah was about 5'4 blonde with green eyes. And Jamie was about 5'6 brown hair dyed blonde for the cruise and had brown eyes and was sort of chubby, but totally fun to be around. Jamie was kind of hesitant about going on the cruise since all her friends we're coupled up and she was the only single one in the group. "All aboard!" Was what the group heard when they began to walk up to the cruise ship that was departing from Alaska. As the climbed up to the ship, Jamie saw a few tall boys pass by her and smiled at her. "Who knows, maybe this cruise will be fun after all, now let's go get them." Shouted Jamie full of excitement as they began to walk to their rooms. "No!" Shouted Heather when she saw that Jeremy was going into the room with her. "Girls in one room, guys in the other, now scram!" She said as she closed the door behind him. The girls began to unpack and were trying to figure out what to wear to dinner for their first night on the ship. "Oh, I could probably care less right now." Mentioned Jamie as she grabbed some clothes and headed to the bathroom to change. "I do hope she could find some guy on the ship, even though if it's just a fling. She needs some love in her life." Mentioned Sarah. "That's so true, she hasn't had a boyfriend since she broke up with Travis, and that was almost 2 years ago." Added Heather, and with that they heard the bathroom door open. "Do I look cute or what?" Mentioned Jamie who came out of the bathroom wearing a pair of bellbottoms and a light blue halter top with a pair of black loafers and her curly hair in two braids. She had her sunglasses on top of her head. "Of course you look cute Jamie." Answered Sarah. "Yeah, I know, I just wanted it to be confirmed." Mentioned Jamie as she grabbed some money and stuck it in her back pocket and put her cell phone on her front pocket, grabbed her backpack and headed towards the door. "Where are you going with your backpack silly?" Asked Heather. "Don't tell me your going to study?" Added Sarah. "I have to. I take the test a week after we get back from the cruise and I want to be totally prepared." Answered Jamie and with that she left. She found herself to the deck and found a table and sat down. She began to look around to see if she could find any cute guys, or at least any guys that were worthy of her. About 5 minutes passed from when she sat down and a waiter came to take her order. "Good afternoon!" Said the waiter in a cheery voice. "Here's the menu and I'll be back in a few minutes to take your order." And with that Jamie looked up to take the menu when she saw standing in front of her a guy that seemed to be around 5'10 in height with brown hair and brown eyes. She smiled and said "Thanks." But she knew she couldn't let him go, so she quickly asked "What do you recommend?" with a big smile on her face. "Well." Began the waiter. "It's still early, so why don't you just have a sandwich with some freshly squeezed orange juice." Jamie thought for a second and said "Well, make that sandwich on white toasted bread, ham, cheese and butter and hold the anchovies." She joked with a laugh, and watched as the waiter laughed with her. "You got it then. I'll be back in a few minutes to personally bring you your order." And with that he left. As he walked away, he turned to see Jamie again and smiled at her. "Oh my God!" Though Jamie. "He's so cute, and he looks cute in his uniform." Jamie then began to search through her backpack and finally took out what she needed. Her ASVAB review book, a notepad and a pen. She was going to take that test in 2 weeks and wanted to be as much prepared as possible. She had plans on joining the Navy. She set the countdown watch on her cell phone for the recommended time to take the test, and she began to read and answer the questions. About 10 minutes passed when the waiter finally showed up with her order. "Um, excuse me. Your order ma'am." Mentioned the waiter, and with that Jamie stopped her watch and looked up to see the same cute waiter carrying a tray with what she had ordered. She smiled and said "Um, you can put it down." And giggled. "Sure thing." Mentioned the waiter. "May I ask what are you doing?" Asked the waiter. Jamie looked down to see the mess of paper and calculations on scraps of paper. She giggled and said, "I'm preparing myself to take the ASVAB test. I'll be taking it in 2 weeks." Answered Jamie. "Oh, I took that test a few years ago. It's really quite simple, you just have to quick." Mentioned the waiter. Then he thought it was a good time to find out her name. "Oh, by the way, I'm Andy." He said. "Yeah, I know." She said, as she pointed to the nametag on his uniform. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that." He giggled. "I'm Jamie. Nice to meet you." "Same here." He said, as he extended his hand to shake Jamie's hand. "But hey," He added "I got to get back to work, I'll see you around, okay?" and with that he turned around and left. But before he could even take another step, Jamie Shouted "Wait!" And with that he turned around to see Jamie's warm big brown eyes. "Yes?" He asked with a smile on his face. "Um, I'm here with two friends, and they both brought their boyfriends and I have no escort to dinner tonight, would you mind if you came to dinner with us?" She asked him. He looked into her deep brown eyes and smiled, but then he said "I am so sorry Jamie, but I have to work. Can I take a rain check?" He asked with his sad puppy dog eyes. "Oh I guess so. But you got to go, remember your working." Said Jamie with a big smile on her face. "Talk to you later then." He said as he turned and walked away. "There's one guy I won't be seeing again." Jamie said to herself as she took a bite out of her sandwich and continued to take the test. About two hours passed when Jamie saw her friends coming towards her. "Hey cutie! Any luck with the man hunt?" Jeremy asked. "Not really. I mean, my waiter is kind of cute so I asked him to dinner tonight but he told me that he had to work." Replied Jamie. "Shit girl, that totally sucks." Sarah told her as she sat down next to Jamie. "We got to find you a man." Scott said as he began to massage Jamie's shoulders. "Listen Scott. I don't need a man, so just back off." Jamie told Scott and the rest of the gang, and with that she packed her stuff and left. "What's wrong with her?" Heather asked the group. "Exactly, she was so excited this morning about meeting guys on this cruise, and now she's just bumped about not meeting any guys." Added Scott. "She's got it bad." Mentioned Jeremy. They then sat down to have something to eat and about five minutes later a waiter came. "Hello. I am your waiter. Here are some menus and I'll be back to take your order in a few minutes." Said the waiter as he handed them the menus and left. "You guys." Started Sarah. "Do you think that that's the waiter Jamie was telling us about?" "We could ask him when he comes back." Suggested Jeremy.
A few minutes passed and the waiter finally showed up. "May I take your order?" Asked the waiter. "But before anything, did you notice a girl who was sitting her at this table before you sat down?" "Oh my, you must be talking about Jamie." Said Heather with a big smile on her face. "Do you know her?" He asked? "Of course!" Answered Sarah. "We've all known each other for years." Added Jeremy. "I am so sorry that I can't make it to dinner with you guys tonight. Now, may I take your order?" Scott asked. About an hour passed when they finished with their snack left a tip and took off. "Hey, lets go to the casino!" Suggested Scott. "Oh man, let's go." Added Jeremy with excitement as the two headed off to the casino, leaving Heather and Sarah behind. "So girlfriend, what would you like to do?" Asked Sarah to her friend as she grabbed her arm. "Hmm, lets go to the gym." Answered Heather and with that they headed towards the gym. They got in the gym and were looking around to see which machine they were going to use first. They then decided to head to the sauna for a while. They began to walk over when they saw Jamie at the punching bag, taking out all her hostilities it seemed like. "Let's go over to her." Suggested Heather. "No way. I guess you don't know Jamie that well, never talk to her when she is pissed off, she might confuse us for the punching bag." Sarah said as she continued to walk towards the sauna. "This totally bites." Said Jamie to herself as she a furiously punched the bag. "I spent all this money on a cruise to be miserable. Sure it's an Alaskan cruise, my dream cruise but I'll sure it's not worth it if I came here to just watch my friends cuddle and kiss their guys while I'm on the side line getting no action what so ever." Finished Jamie as she continued to punch and kick the poor punching bag. She finally got tired and left to go take a shower and just have a peaceful night in her room while her friends go out and had some fun. Dinner wasn't served until 8:00 p.m. and her friends got back to the room at 7:00 to start getting ready. The second they came in the room, they saw Jamie sitting on the bed wearing a pair of boxers, tank top and some toe socks and her hair was kind of pulled back with loose strands hanging almost everywhere. "Girl, you're not going to dinner with us?" Asked Sarah as she started to take off her shoes. "No, I'm staying in tonight. Maybe later on I'll just take a walk around the boat, but that's it. I have to stay and review and compare my test scores from the test I took this afternoon." "Suit yourself." Said Heather. The girls were ready by exactly 8:00 o'clock. Heather wore a short black dress with black pumps and her hair was put up in a messy bun and Sarah wore a short red dress that flares with some red pumps and her hair was loose. "How do we look?" Heather said to Jamie waiting for her opinion. Jamie looked up from her books and said "The both of you look fabulous. I hope you two have a blast but don't eat too much." with a smile. They then heard a knock on the door and Jamie got up to answer it. When she opened it she saw Jeremy and Scott all dressed up, ready to take their dates to dinner. "What Jamie, you're not going?" Scott asked as he closed the door. "Nope, but you guys go and have a good time." Jamie said as she sat down on her bed again. With that Heather, Sarah, Scott and Jeremy left to dinner. "Don't wait up!" Sarah shouted to Jamie as she shut the door. Jamie began to concentrate on the test again and got ready to take it. "I need to do good in this test. I just can't barely pass, I need to pass with flying colors." Jamie said to herself as she began to take the test, for the third time that day. About half way through the test she got anxious and decided to take a walk around the ship. She slipped on some flippers scrambled through her backpack in search of her CD player and left. It was about 9:30 when she left. The night air was kind of chilly, but nice. She got up to the deck below the captain's deck. She just leaned over and watched the water as it passed her by. The wind was blowing through her brown hair and she then looked up to the stars and began to count them. About a minute later, she got tired of counting the stars and went to go find a lawn chair to sit on. She found one she sat down, took off her slippers, slipped the head phones over her ears and leaned back against the back of the chair and closed her eyes. Little did she know that in the Captain's deck was Andy talking with the Captain and some of the security staff when he looked out the window, to his surprise he found Jamie just laying there listening to some music. "This is my chance." He thought when he said "Excuse me gentlemen, I got a girl to go see." "But Sgt. we have to go over these plans." One of the guys spoke up. "We'll go over them soon, let me just take a break. I have to go speak with a girl." He said as he walked out the door and headed towards the stairwell to get down to Jamie. Once down there, he just stared at her, while she had her eyes closed and her headphones on, kind of singing along with the music. Andy didn't dare wake her, or even disturb her, but he wanted to talk to her, so he just grabbed her hand, and Jamie opened her eyes to see that gorgeous face again. She took off her headphones and looked up at him and just smiled, as he smiled back. "I thought you had to work?" Jamie asked, kind of with an attitude. "I did." Replied Andy with a smile. "But I saw you here by yourself so I took my break." "Sure you did." Jamie said sarcastically, putting her headphones back on and shutting her eyes again. Andy didn't know if she was pissed off or just playing hard to get, so he grabbed her hand, and at that second she opened her eyes again and took off her headphones. "Yes?" Asked Jamie as she stared into Andy's brown eyes. "Let's go for walk." He suggested, as he pulled Jamie up from the lawn chair. "Alright." She said as she went along with Andy. They began to walk slowly side by side down the ship, until finally Jamie broke the ice and asked "So, what's your job tonight? What do you have to do? The refreshment stand is closed." Jamie pointed out. Andy didn't know how to react. "Does she know what I really do? Who I really am?" He thought and said "At night I work with the Captain. I'm sort of like his gopher." "Oh okay, that's cool." Mentioned Jamie as she began to walk towards the end of the ship and just stopped to admire the stars. "Don't they just look so pretty tonight?" Jamie asked Andy. "Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I like the cruise ship, at nighttime, it's unbelievable." Answered Andy. "So." Began Andy. "Why did you come on this cruise with your friends who are coupled up and you didn't bring along your special someone?" Asked Andy, changing the subject. "Well," Began Jamie "The cruise was mine and Sarah's idea. Then we wanted more people to come along, so we invited Heather, who tagged along her boyfriend, and Sarah did the same thing. I don't have any special someone, so I came along, stag." Finished off Jamie. "Why don't you have one?" Andy asked with his eyes full of curiosity. "Travis and I were together for about a year when he broke up with me two years ago. And although I don't like him any more, I can't seem to find a guy who likes me." Jamie answered. 'Why did he break up with you?" Andy asked. "He told me that he thought that what he and I had wasn't working out. Which from my point of view is a total lie, because things were going perfectly for the both of us. I learned to not trust any guys with my heart, its' the most valuable organ in my body." Jamie answered back to Andy as she smiled at him. "Oh, that's terrible." Andy mentioned. "Yeah, it is. So what about you? Do you have anybody special in your life?" Jamie asked with curiosity. Andy looked deep into her eyes and said "Not yet, but I'm working on it." With a big smile on his face. A few more minutes passed and Andy looked at his watch. "I hate to have to do this, but I think I need to get back. Don't want to upset the Captain. I'll see you around." He said as he began to walk away. "Bye!" Said Jamie full of excitement. She then began to walk to her room as she just continued to think about Andy. "Nope, I'm not gonna fall for him, like I fell for Travis. That is out of the question." She thought as she opened the door to her room and just walked in and sat on her bed and continued to study. About an hour passed and Heather and Sarah finally got back. "Hey girl!" Shouted Sarah, "we brought you some food." Handing Jamie a doggie bag. "Thanks. That's what I need right now. My mind can't stand it any more. I think it's about to explode!" Mentioned Jamie as she took the doggie bag. "So how was your night?" Jamie asked her friends. "We had a blast. We danced the night away, ate dinner and then took a walk on the deck." Answered Heather. "Well, I'm glad you had a nice time at dinner." Replied Jamie. After Heather and Sarah had gotten into their pajamas, they both looked at Jamie "You didn't stay in here the whole night, did you?" Sarah asked her. "No, about an hour ago I took a walk on the deck and just sat down on a lawn chair and listened to some music." She answered. "Oh, well that's cool." Mentioned Heather as she lied down to go to sleep. "Hey girls, what are we doing tomorrow?" Sarah asked. "I haven't got a clue." Mentioned Jamie as she put her books down on the floor and curled up herself to go to bed. "Good night!" she said as she closed her eyes. The next morning the girls were awoken by a knock on their door. Heather got up to see who it was, and to her surprise, it was Jeremy and Scott. "Do you guys know what time it is?" Shouted Sarah from her bed. "It's time to get up!" Said Scott with excitement, as he and Jeremy walked in and sat on the vacant bed. "Come on girls, get dressed. We'll wait." Jeremy joked as he and Scott were laughing. "Get out of here!" Shouted Jamie from her bed as she though her pillow at the boys and hit Jeremy on the head. "Wow, somebody's got pms." Joked Scott as he and Jeremy got up and left the room. "Jamie, are you okay?" Asked Sarah. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just don't want to have an audience while I get dressed." Laughed Jamie as she got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. "She seems kind of different, right?" Sarah asked Heather. "Ay, who knows. I just hope she has some fun today and not just stay studying for that test." Answered Heather. About 15 minutes later, Jamie came out of the bathroom already dressed. She had on a dark green tank top and a pair of denim bellbottoms and some loafers on. Her brown curly hair was tied to the back in a ponytail. "So, who's coming to have breakfast with me?" Jamie asked. "Oh, I will. I'm starving." Answered Sarah. "Me too." Added Heather. 20 minutes later, Sarah and Heather were already dressed to go. Heather had on a pair of yellow capris, sandals and a yellow tank top that had tiny flowers on it, and Sarah had on a blue long skirt on, kind of like bohemian style, a pair of sandals and a black bodysuit. "Look at us. We're dressed to kill." Joked Jamie as she grabbed her cell phone and money and walked out the door, followed by Heather and Sarah. Up on the breakfast deck, the girls found Jeremy and Scott sitting down waiting for them. "Good morning ladies." Said Jeremy as he and Scott got up and pulled the chair out for their girlfriends. Jamie feeling left out went to pull her chair to sit down when all of a sudden she saw it move back by itself, but when she looked behind her, she saw it was Andy. "Your seat, ma'am." Andy said with a huge smile on his face. Jamie looked at him with those warm brown eyes of hers and said "Thanks." And smiled. "So folks, may I take your order?" Andy asked the group, handing out some menus. "Give us a minute bro." Scott told Andy. "Ok." Andy said and with that he took off. "What just happened there?" Scott asked Jamie. "Nothing happened silly. You didn't pull out a chair for me, so the kind and sweet waiter pulled it out for me, that's all." Answered Jamie as she began to read her menu. - 5 minutes passed and Andy came back to take their order. Jeremy and Scott wanted pancakes with tons of syrup and toast and a soda, while Heather and Sarah wanted scrambled eggs with pepper, bacon and some toast and orange juice and Jamie had an order of French toast with a glass of milk. "I'll be with your order shortly." Said Andy has he left as he smiled at Jamie. "Girl, there's something going on that your not telling us." Mentioned Sarah. "I guess." Jamie said with a sly smile. "Spill it girl!" demanded Heather with a laugh. Jamie giggled and said "Well, last night when I was went for that walk on the deck, I had sat down on a lawn chair for a while. Andy saw me and we talked for a few minutes but he had to go because he was working and just took a break to see me. That's all there is to tell." Finished off Jamie. "I guess you and the bus boy are hitting it off good." Jeremy said. "Yes we are." Added Jamie as she saw Andy walking towards the table with a cart with the order of the table. He handed out the food and asked "Jamie, may I speak to you for a second in private?" "Sure thing." She said as she got up from her chair and walked down the deck with Andy. "So, what's on your mind?" Jamie asked him. "Well, I was hoping, if you don't have any plans for tonight, and if you want to, I can help you study for the test." He suggested. - "Really?" - "Yes really, silly. I wouldn't be asking if I didn't want to." - "All right, where do you think is a good place to study?" - "Well, we could go study on the Captain's Deck, if that's all right with you. - "Wow, the Captain's Deck! Sure thing. At what time? - Let's see, I get off of work at 5:30, I'll go get you at your room at around 6:00, is that okay? - Yeah, that's cool. You sure you won't be too tired though? - Of course not. What's the number? - Room 234. I'll see you then. - Yeah, and have a nice day. And with that, Andy and Jamie walked back to the table and Jamie sat down while Andy went back to work. "What happened?" Asked Scott when he saw the smile on Jamie's face. "Nothing happened silly. He just wanted to ask me something is all." She replied. "Okay girl. So, what are our plans for today?" Sarah asked the group. "What are our options?" Jeremy asked. "Let's see." Said Jamie as she took out the list of fun stuff to do on the cruise. "We could go see a movie, gym, casino, arcade, go get some drinks. Hey look! In an hour there's going to be a military display in the Conference Room. Let's go there." She suggested. "That sounds like fun." Jeremy said. "Yeah, especially the men in uniform part." Sarah added, as she smiled at Jamie and gave her a high five. "You go girl!" Jamie said, as she and the other girls laughed to see the guys with a jealous face. "Ha, and girls in uniform!" Shouted Scott as he gave Jeremy a high five. "Man, a girl in uniform can beat the shit out of you, did you know that?" Jamie told the guys. "Listen to her. She's a future Marine." Sarah said as everybody in the table enjoyed a good laugh. "Ah, let's go!" Shouted Jamie as she got up from her chair. They walked over to the Conference Room and when they walked in they saw that it was huge. For seats it had these kind of circular sofas with mini tables in front of them. "Wow! This room is huge." Mentioned Heather as she found some good seats in the middle of the room. "Perfect!" Said Jamie. The gang began to watch as little by little the room was getting fuller. They were also watching the stage as some real Unites States Marines were getting ready for the demonstration. "Wow! Don't they look cute in their dress blues?" Heather asked. "Oh yeah!" Jamie answered back with a smile on her face as she was checking out the finest Marine she'd ever seen. Just then some Marines stepped onto the stage marching. Just then, one of the Marines took center stage to talk, looked up to see the audience and just froze and just took off from the stage. "Sgt.!" Yelled one of the soldiers, as he ran off to go get him. "We are very sorry about this. We are currently suffering minor difficulties with stage fright. We shall be back in a few minutes." Warned Lance Corporal Morris. "Andy, what's wrong with you? There's no way it could be stage fright." Asked Lance Corporal Fisher. "No dude, do you remember last night when I went to go talk to that girl who was on the deck?" Andy asked. "Yeah." Replied Lance Corporal. Fisher. "Well, she's out there and she doesn't know that I am a Marine. She still thinks that I'm some silly waiter and a gopher for the Captain." Andy said. "Oh shit. This is supposed to be an undercover operation, so you can't tell her. And if you go out there like that, you'll blow your cover. How important is this girl to you?" Ask Lance Corporal Fisher. "Very important, that's why I can't go out and make the presentation. You're going to have to do it for me." Andy said. "Yes sir!" Said Lance Corporal Fisher as he began to walk towards the stage and began to march out again with the rest of the Marines. "Look! It started!" Jamie said with a big smile and watched in amazement as the Marines took stage and began, but little did she know that Andy was watching her from back stage. As he watched her, he just smiled to himself. An hour later, the show ended and everybody left. "All right, it's 3:00 p.m. What are we going to do now?" Jeremy asked. "I haven't got a clue. I mean the shit doesn't pull into port until tomorrow, so there's so sight seeing until then." Mentioned Heather. "OMG!" Shouted Jamie. "Lets go back to the room, get the camera and just take some really cool pictures of us on the ship." She finished off with excitement as she began to jump up and down. "Okay." Scott said, looking at her kind of weird. "I'll go get the camera and the film." Volunteered Jamie as she began to walk towards the room. "What was that all about?" Sarah asked, looking at Jamie walk away. "Excitement I guess. Only 3 more hours until Andy goes by the room to pick her up." Suggested Scott. "Yeah." Said Jamie, "so let's go get a move on with those pictures." As she grabbed Scott's arm and pulled him out the door followed by the rest of the group. They headed to the guys room and got Scott's camera. "Lets go girls! Oh, and you guys also." Laughed Scott as they left the room and Scott turned on the camera and started filming. They had a blast showing off in front of the camera. Just then, Andy turned the corner, still in his uniform and saw Jamie and her group having fun with the camera. "Oh shit, she's there." He said to himself as he turned back, but at the same time smiled to himself be cause he thought that she was just the perfect girl for him, and headed to his room to change into civilian clothes. Once at his room, he changed into a pair of shorts and a T-shirt with a pair of sneakers and took off to the Captain's Deck to get everything ready for his study date. Meanwhile, back in the girl's room, Jamie had no idea what to wear. "Girl, go comfortable." Sarah said as she took out a pair of shorts and a halter top with some slippers. "Cool." Said Jamie as she took the clothes and headed to the bathroom to go change. While in the bathroom, she heard a knock at the door. "Somebody get that!" She screamed from the bathroom. "Tell him I'm almost ready." Heather went to go answer the door and to her surprise it was Scott and Jeremy. "Do you two know that you have the balls to come knock on the door a few minutes before Andy comes to pick up Jaime?" Sarah asked when she realized who was at the door. "Well, excuse us if we wanted to come by and wish our very good friend good luck on her first date." Jeremy said as he walked in and Scott closed the door. "I'm ready!" Shouted Jaime as she rushed out of the bathroom. "It was a false alarm." Mentioned Sarah. "Yeah, it was these two idiots only." Laughed Heather. "You guys! That wasn't funny!" shouted Jaime as she playfully punched both guys on their arms. While they were all laughing, they all heard a knock on the door and the room filled with silence as everybody froze. "Well, just don't stand there, open the door!" Scott blurted out to Jaime. Jaime walked towards the door and opened it to see Scott standing in front of her. "Hello!" He said as he smiled at her. "Hey! Look at that, he's cute and punctual." Joked Jaime, trying to break the ice. "Aw, don't make me blush." Andy said. "Fine then, that's the last compliment your getting from me. Now let me go get my back pack." Jaime got her back pack and cell phone and walked out the door with Scott. Out in the hallway Andy said "I'll carry that for you." as he took Jaime's backpack. "Hey, thanx. It's not like it's that heavy, but if you want to act like a gentleman, so be it." Jaime said smiling as they began to walk towerds the Captain's Deck. "Your still angry at me for not escorting you to dinner that night, aren't you?" Andy asked. "Me? Angry? Now why would I be angry? I stayed without eating that night cuz I couldn't bare the thought of my friends hugging and kissing their boyfriends." Jaime said sarcastically. "Oh good, then I'm glad your not angry with me then." Andy said as they both laughed. "Whatever." Jaime said walking side by side with Andy and climbing the stairs to the Captains Deck. "Well, here we are!" Mentioned Andy as he opened the door to the room. "Yes, we are here." Jaime said as all of a sudden she froze, unable to move. "Well, just don't stand there, come in!" Andy said as he walked in and noticed that Jaime was still at the doorway. "What's wrong?" He asked as he walked over to her. "Everything." She answered as she threw herself on the floor, put her face in her hands and just began to cry. Andy just stood there staring down at what he thought beautiful and now in pain Jaime and didn't know how to react. "Jaime, don't cry out here. Come inside, and we'll talk if you want to. In private." He said as he knelt down in front of Jaime and took her hands off her face. "Okay." She said as she wiped some of her tears off her face and got up. Jaime walked into the room as Andy held her by her waist walking behind her making sure nothing happened to her and she sat down on the sofa that was there and Andy sat next to her and gave her a tissue. "Now what's wrong? Did I make you cry?" Andy asked? "No, don't think that." She said as she looked into his eyes. "I'm just going through a rough time I guess. Yesterday when I was changing in the bathroom, I over heard Heather and Sarah talking about how they wish I could find some kind of fling on this ship. Maybe they don't like the fact that I'm there tag along since I don't have a boyfriend. I know that we're all good friends and everything, but I don't know." she finished off. "Oh, wow. I'm sure they meant that in a good way. No friend wants to see another friend lonely." He said smiling at her. "I know, but it's weird cuz before I was telling myself that I didn't want to fall for any guy cause no matter how good they say they are, they always turn into lying bastards after a while and it scares me to have to go through all that again." She added as she opened her backpack and took out her book. "Let's study!" She shouted giggling! "Alright girl!" Andy said as they both walked over to the table. "Hey, so why did you take the ASVAP test but never joined the military?" Jaime asked Andy. "Um, I don't think I ever wanted to, was just curious to see if I could pass the test is all." Andy answered quickly as they heard a knock at the door. "I'll get it." Andy volunteered as he got up. "Sir, we just got confirmation that the suspect is yet indeed on this ship." Said the guy that was on the other side of the door. Andy laughed and said "Fisher, are you and Seiler playing spy games again?" Trying to make him realize that he was with the girl of his dreams and she wasn't suposed to know that he was undercover. Lance Corporal Fisher got the hint and said "Yes we are! We just wanted to know if you could join us?" "Can't you see I'm busy? I'll get back to you guys later on tonight, but go investigate that and have fun!" Andy said closing the door. "Those guys." Giggled Andy as he closed the door behind him. "Friends of yours?" Jamie asked. "Yeah. They must have the night off since they're playing games." Andy said nervously and sat down on the chair. "Time to study!" Jamie annouced once again and giggled. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang were out on the deck. Scott and Sarah both shared a lawn chair while Jeremy and Heather shared another one. "Isn't this romantic?" Heather mentioned as Jeremy slid his arms around her waist. "Yup." Sarah said with a smile and looked back to see her guy. "I wonder who Jaime is doing." Jeremy asked nerviously. "She's probably fine dude." All of a sudden Jeremy's cell phone rings. "I'll answer it!" Shouted Heather as she got the cell phone out of her backpack. "No, that's ok sweetie." Jeremy said as he got up and walked away, taking his call. "That was odd." Mentioned Scott. The gang watched as Jeremy was on the phone. By his actions, it seemed like he was angry with the person on the other line of the phone. About 7 minutes passed when he sat down with the group again. "What was that all about?" Heather asked. "Don't worry about it sweetie, it was nothing." He answered. "Are you positively sure it was nothing?" Sarah asked as she stood up from the lawn chair. "Yes." He answered. A few hours has passed and Jaime and Andy seemed to have finished up their study lesson. "You sure know a lot about this military stuff. Too bad you didn't actually join the military." Jaime mentioned to Andy. "Yeah, I guess. Um, are you hungry? Thirsty? We could go down and get something to eat." He suggested. "Sure thing. We might even find the rest of the group down there." Jaime mentioned getting up from the seat when Andy's cell phone rang. "Can you excuse me for a minute?" He asked as he walked out of the room and answered his cell phone. "Hello?" Andy asked. "Sgt. This is Fisher." Said the guy on the other line. -"What happened?" -"It's been over a couple of hours sir. The suspect in question is indeed aboard this ship." -"I'm sure he is, and leader of this operation, I put you and Seiler in charge of it until I can step away from my current duties." -"Your not getting it Sir. Our Commanding Officer has sent us pictures taken via sattelite. There is one with you interacting with the suspect." -"How can that be?" -"We don't know. I suggest you meet us immediatly in Seiler's room." -"Will do Fisher." And with that Andy hung up the phone. He walked back into the room to find Jaime sitting on the sofa waiting patiently. "Is everything alright? We leaving to have dinner?" She asked as she stood up from her seat. Andy looked at her and said "I hate to do this to you yet again, but I have some business to take care of." Jaime looked at him full of anger and yelled "You know, I'm not into playing these fucked up mind games that you guys are so used to playing. If you wanted to blow me off for the second time in a row, you might as well haven't even invited me over tonight to help me study. What was it? Out of pity? I can't believe I fell for another lie from a guy." As tears ran down her cheeks, she grabbed her stuff and stormed out the door. "Shit! I can't believe what I just did." Andy said to himself as we walked out the door heading towards Seiler's room. "This better be fucken important since Jaime just stormed out of the room." Andy mentioned as he walked into the room. "We are sorry Andy, but take a look at these pictures." Seiler said handing Andy the pictures. "What the fuck! This can't be! This is the guy we're after?" Andy shouted out in disbelief. "Yeah, do you know him?" Fisher asked. "Yes I do." Andy said. "Now what?" Seiler asked. The guys just stood there in shock when Andy told them who their suspect was. The guy who had been stealing Top Secret information and selling it to the enemy. Jamie had walked into one of the fast food restaurants on the ship when she spotted her gang in there. "Jaime!" shouted Scott. Jaime waved at them with a smile on her face as she walked towards the booth. "What's wrong?" Sarah asked when Jaime sat down. "Andy and I were on our way out to go have dinner. His cell phone rang and he had to leave, apologizing yet again that we couldn't have dinner. I was so pissed that I cursed him out and left." Jaime resonded. "That ass hole! I'll beat the shit out of him!" Jeremy said with anger. "Cool it dude. He's a looser anyway. Tomorrow will be much better since we finally pull into port. Sight seeing, shopping and loads of fun!" Mentioned Heather. "You better believe it." Said Jaime. After they all ate, the gang walked to their rooms. "Good night, baby." Jeremy said to Heather as he leaned over and kissed her. "Good night sweetie." Scott told Sarah as he did the same. "Oh please." Jaime said to herself as she opened the door to the room and walked in. She threw her books on the bed along with her backpack and she went to go take a shower. When she got out, she was in her pajamas. Sarah and Heather still haven't entered the room. She walked over to the door and looked through the peep hole to see Jeremy and Heather, Scott and Sarah kissing each other and holding each other tight. "It's no fair." Jamie said to herself as she slid down the door and sat on the floor with her knees to her chest. She stared aimlessly at the wall in front of her with more tears in her eyes. There was then a knock on the door. "Fuck! Don't these girls have a damn key." She said to herself as she got up to open the door. As she opened the door, to her surprise, there stood Andy with some flowers and a teddy bear and everybody was no where to be found. "What do you want?" Jaime asked him with an attitude. "I want to apologize." Andy said. "You already did. Good night!" Jaime said, closing the door. Andy's foot got in the way, not letting her close the door. -"What the fuck do you want? Haven't you fooled around with me enough?" -"Why don't you just listen? I have a job to do and things come up." -"That's good to know. Are you through?" -"No. I really wanted to get to know you. I really wanted to go to dinner with you. I swear, but for now, I can't tell you all that much, but when the cruise is done, I'll tell you everything." -"What are you talking about?" -"You'll soon find out. Just accept these flowers and stuffed animal." -"Sorry, I don't think that I can. Good night." She said sadly as she closed the door. She through herself on the bed and just started to cry. Andy was still outside the door when that happened and he could hear her crying. His heart wanted to break as he bent down and left the teddy bear holding the flowers outside the door. "I have to do something to get her to listen to me." Andy said to himself as he walked towards the deck. "I swear she is the girl for me." As he walked onto the deck, he saw Fisher and Seiler. By the looks of it, they have finally spotted the suspect. "No!" Andy said to himself and he ran towards them. "You can't arrest him now. We'll arrest him, just not now. He's not going no where." Andy said when he got to them. "Are you crazy?" Seiler said. "Yeah, are you? As we speak, this guy could've already printed out more Top Secret information, or maybe even faxed it to the enemy." Fisher brought up. "He's not, just trust me." Andy said and the three of them walked to Seiler's room. "I can't believe you made us do that man!" Fisher shouted to Andy. "I'm sorry. You just couldn't have. We'll do it soon, trust me." Andy responded. An hour had past when the Heather and Sarah got back to their room. "What's this?" Sarah asked to Heather as she saw the stuffed bear and flowers. "I don't know. Seems like someone has a secret admirer." Commented Heather. "Or maybe a guy who wants to apologize." Sarah said as she saw the card. They both smiled at each other and opened the door to find Jaime fast asleep in her bed. "We'll let her sleep. I'll just put these next to her bed. She'll find them in the morning." Sarah said, putting the things down next to her bed. It was 7:00 am when there was a knock at the door. "Who the fuck can it be so damn early?" Heather said walking to get the door. "Maybe it's your boyfriend." Sarah joked at Heather. "Maybe it's yours." Heather smiled back as she opened the door to see Andy standing outside with a cart full of food. "We're both mistaken, it's Jaime's." Heather mentioned with a smile. "I hate to wake you girls up, but is Jaime here?" Andy asked. "No, she ran away last night. This is a cruise ship and it's 7 in the morning, where else do you think she's going to be?" Heather said sarcastically. "Can I be with her alone?" Andy asked. "Come on Sarah, let's go get the boys." Heather said as they left the room. "Watch out, she was pretty upset last night." Sarah warned Andy as she followed her friend. Andy silently pushed the cart in the room and closed the door. He smiled when he saw her just lying there dreaming and really didn't want to wake her up. "Jaime." He whispered. "Wake up." Jaime slowly began to open her eyes. When they were wide awake, she finally saw who it was. She looked at Andy in the eyes and said "Do you know what time it is?" "Yeah, time for you and I to have breakfast together." He said as he pointed to the cart. "I really did want to have dinner with you last night. Just believe me. I didn't want to hurt you in anyway." Andy mentioned to Jaime. "I know I over reacted last night, and I'm sorry too." Jaime said. "Cool then. So, you hungry?" Andy said as he smiled. Jaime just giggled and said "Yeah." Andy brought the cart over to them and sat down across from Jaime on Heathers bed. "What would you like to have this morning for breakfast, Miss Jaime?" Andy asked. "Wow, they all look delicious, I don't know. How about some french toast." Jaime said as she took hold of the plate and smile. "Sounds like a fine choice." Andy said as he took the pancakes. "That breakfast was delightful." Jaime said when she was done eating. "Your right, but so was the company." Andy added as he smiled at her. Then there was a knock at the door. "Jamie! Andy! Do you have your clothes on?" Sarah shouted. "Sarah! Get your ass in here." Jamie said embarassed. "Oh good, you two are dressed." Heather said. "Hey, are we going to go sight seeing today?" Sarah mentioned. "Cause if we are, we can't do it in our pajamas." "Speak for yourself girl. As long as I have a camera with me, I'm goog to go." Jamie joked. "Well ladies, I guess I better be leaving. Have fun in the city." Andy said as he got up and kissed Jaime on the cheak. "Why don't you join us?" Heather asked with a smile. "He can't." Jaime blurted out. "He's got important things to do." And she looked at Andy with a mischivious smile. "I'll go check my scheduele and be back in about 15 minutes." Andy said giving Jaime his mischivious smile back as he took the cart and headed out the door. As he closed the door, Sarah and Heather both turned towards Jaime and gave her a smile that meant "Tell us what happened." Jaime looked at them and said "I'm not telling you what happened. We had breakfast, that is all." "Aww, come on girl. We're your best friends." Heather said. "We just talked and he mentioned that he really wanted to have dinner with me last night." Jamie said walking to the bathroom. "Girl, where you going?" Sarah asked. "I have to go pee, or do I have to ask for your permission too?" Jaime answered. While she was in the bathroom, Heather and Sarah began to get dressed. They both decided to wear a pair of jeans with a tank top. Jaime walked out of the bathroom drying up her face with her pajamas. "There are towels in the bathroom silly." Sarah mentioned. "Hey, since you already had breakfast, do you mind if we go and eat. We'll meet you up on deck when your done." Heather suggested. "That sounds like a plan. Don't eat too much." Jaime said as she threw herself on the bed as she watched her friends leave the room. As soon as they were gone, she put the radio on and went to go take a shower. Jaime was just getting out of the shower and was drying up when she heard a knock on the door. "Oh no! That must be Andy." Jaime said to herself. She grabbed her bathrobe and throw it on herself in a hurry and rushed to the door and looked through the peep hole. There he was, Andy himself in a pair of jeans and a nice shirt. "Nooooo." Jaime said to herself as she looked at Andy. She opened the door just a little bit and said "Yes?" Andy peeped in and asked "You weren't taking a shower, were you?" She giggled and asked "Are you coming, yes or no? That is all you need to tell me and that is all you need to know." "Yes, I am all yours for today." He answered. "Now, can I come in?" "Yeah right. The rest of the gang is having breakfast up on the deck. Now scoot and let me finish getting dressed." As she waved good bye and closed the door. Andy began to walk slowly towards the breakfast deck when he heard Seiler calling him. "What is it?" Andy asked. "Your going on this little field trip of yours, but just make sure you keep on eye on the suspect." Seiler answered. "I know my job." Andy mentioned as he continued to walk towards the breakfast deck. "He is going to mess this up for us." Fisher said. "Don't worry. I've known him for a long time and he truly does seem to be in love with her." Seiler said, trying to get Fisher to understand. Andy finally reached the breakfast deck to see the rest of the gang having breakfast. "Hey! I just stopped by the room and Jaime was in a towel getting dressed." Andy said as he sat down. "Good. I can't wait to do some sight seeing." Scott mentioned. "Me neither." Heather agreed. As soon as Jaime showed up, the gang had just finished having breakfast. "Is everybody ready?" Jaime asked as she showed up wearing a pair of hip hugger jeans and a phesant shirt. "Yes we are!" Shouted Scott with excitment as he jumped up from his chair. "Yup, and let me tell you, you look good." Andy commented to Jaime. "I know." Jaime replied with a mischevious smile.
