"a memoir"

shedding tears because he's gone
gone for four years now
and didn't realize it then
and once i found out
i cried
sometimes...
i forget he was a person
once alive
i always knew he died
long time ago
but not like this
maybe an illusion
seeing a picture of his truthful smile
forgetting he existed
once
staling to his soul sometimes
when i'm lonely
never felt his earth existance
he's living in the sky
with wings
my pink spider

push back the hands of time to when
you were alive
my love
your spirit is not enough
i need to know you're there
and sometimes it feels like
you were never real
just a fantasy in everyone's minds
but if i could just let my fingers touch you
and my arms embrace you
i would have a right to mourn your loss
but now
you're just my dream
forever absent to us all
but an eternal pink angel
and i have such a painful unrequited love
barred by the gates of death
for you
