Kill Me If You Dare

You raise the knife to kill me,

Then raise it higher still.

You prepare to stab it into me,

But know this before you kill:

My body may be empty,

But my soul is always there.

I’ll be back to haunt you,

So kill me if you dare.

My screams shall echo in your mind,

My blood shall stain you red.

But I am much more dangerous,

After I am dead.

You cannot hide form me,

Nor escape my ghostly stare.

And I’ll be back to get you,

So kill me if you dare.

You stop to think this over,

And you almost drop your knife.

You think about the consequences.

Do you still want to take my life?

I’ll make sure guilt weighs you down,

So that it’s more than you can bear.

And I’ll be back to ruin you,

So kill me if you dare.

You harden your resolve,

And you raise your knife once more.

But you have no idea,

What I have for you in store.

If you take my life,

You had better say your prayer.

Because I’ll be back for my revenge,

So kill me if you dare.

You will never guess,

The pain you put me through.

But know that if you kill me,

I can do the same for you.

I can never make you match my pain,

But I’ll be sure you have your share.

And I’ll be back to rip your flesh,

So kill me if you dare.

You are unsure of what to do.

You can’t make up your mind.

Do you really want to kill me,

And know what you may find?

You may think I am lying,

But you’ll be in for a scare.

Because I’ll be back to spill your blood,

So kill me if you dare.

Beware! You cannot run from ghosts,

Nor hide from watching eyes.

Know that if you kill me,

You won’t forget my cries.

My body might be empty,

And I’m sure you will not care.

But I’ll be back to snatch your breath,

So kill me if you dare.

Do you want to do your deed?

Do you want to face your fears?

Or will you let me live,

And spare yourself the tears?

You cannot run forever,

I’ll be with you everywhere.

And I’ll be back to mangle you,
So kill me if you dare.

You will beg for mercy,

When I have you ensnared.

I will be back to steal your soul,

So kill me…

If you dare.
