Drip, drip, drip…

Drip, drip, drip…

Blood falls in an empty container,

Sending endless black ripples through the darkness.

So empty, yet so confined.

Hollow shell fighting the crushing flow of blood.

Drip, drip, drip…

Another drop falls.

A scar, an open wound.

Drowning in the onslaught of blood.

Bleeding inward and fractured, hollow shell.

No light, no noise.

So dark, so silent…except for…

Drip, drip, drip…

Always dripping but never filled.

Red blood lost in a dark sea.

From unfathomable chaos to mind-devouring stillness.

Only a single drop, but an ear piercing sound.

Drip, drip, drip…
