A Forgotten Guest
I truly feel happy at the coastline
my feet in the sand and the sparkling waves
licking at my ankles. And I envy
its splendor, knowing I am nothing in
comparison.
The waves are lovely when they are first born;
Coming up first as tiny ripples in
the sea, then growing into wonderful
shimmering and curving arches. Then they
finally reach their highest point and the
beautiful shades of blue and green are seen
as they crash down to the sand, recess to
the sea and begin again.
I enjoy seeing the white foam wander
in and out among the waves. The water
looks as it were dressing nice to prepare
for a delicious banquet with all kinds
of delicacies. The fancy waves come
up close to me to show off their wardrobe
then climb back into the sea. They must get
to their destination on time, and there
is no time to lose.
When the waves go back into the sea they
reveal the sand glistening from all the
wettening of the water. It almost
seems that the waves were dressing the sand as
well, like in beautiful gold and shining
silver. It seems as if the sand has also been
invited.
I suppose I am forgotten.
end.
I hope you liked it. Please review!
