Masterpiece
I am the center
Of a great masterpiece
My story is nothing special in itself
Nothing out of the ordinary
Nothing that has not been before
But the great Author
Is working faithfully
Diligently writing page by page
Chapter by chapter
And though my story isn't long
Often I am told that the longest story
Is not always the best
And I still have much to accomplish
My story is far from over
And with a little help from my family
And my friends
And other people I encounter
Maybe only once
Maybe many times a day
And with much help from God
Who will be my consultant always
As to the content of my story
It will become a small, but noble tale
Devoid of splendid adventures, perhaps
But not lacking in smiles and love
And always abundant
In contentment and happiness
