And so falls the sun
It's all said and done
So sleep weary child
And may tomorrow be mild
With this lullaby
Close laden eyes
For tomorrow's a promise
Unmade and unbroken
Sleep on the knowledge
Of words yet unspoken
So rest in the shade
Don't bother to wake
It'll all be okay
Just sleep in the shade.
Porcelain faeries,
The twinkle of stars
No longer wary
As the mind drifts afar
Forget all you know
Forget all you need
Just drifting alone
On the wind as a seed
For tomorrow's a promise
Unmade and unbroken
Sleep on the knowledge
Of words yet unspoken
So rest in the shade
Don't bother to wake
It'll all be okay
Just sleep in the shade.
