I look up at the sky, and salty tears hit my eyes
And I understand the sting of the pain.
I look back and see the joy and hear my own laughter
The worst part of a miserable life is knowing you were once happy
My skin is paper-thin; a blunt sword could pierce through
Am I so pathetic -
that when I cry, Heaven will cry with me.
Is my life so miserably lonely that my sobs will raise the thunder and lightning?
If I fall, will hail batter the grounds under my knees?
When Heaven cries, don't rain, I've learned
that attaching yourself to someone will only cause you the most pain
For when the wave goes so high the only direction it can fall is south
When Heaven cries, don't rain.
I will be there for you
Who will be there for me?
