Burn

well now the silver sunlight's
penetrated the thick and deceitful smoke
leaked through the endless clouds
of ugly lies and false hope
they rain down, they spawn
whispers of acid and fire
their burning pools still
swamping the ground but I stood up
finally, after all this time
squinted and peered just hard enough
to see the truth- the sun
blazing hot and bright and
shining the truth in my eyes
you lied, you tricked, you told me it was fine
when you never knew it was and
your rain of acid-whispers
mean nothing anymore
rain all you like but I still see
the burning light of sun beyond the clouds

(a/n: I was really angry with someone I thought I could trust...but it's all better now, don't worry)
