The light shines brightly within me
Happiness encompasses most of what I do
The lows almost nonexistent, now I just get subdued
Not as fragile as I was but more vulnerable than before
Allowed to grow at my own pace
He takes his time with me knowing how I was in my past
Knowing daily more of who I am, the True Me still emerging
Seeing more of the beauty with me, liking the person I see
Don't have to change for others, learning to stand up for myself
Sometimes that upsets another but in valuing myself
Can stand tall and proud despite that fact, learning I deserve respect
Know at times my personality confuses, thought of "flirting all the time"
Some feel a strong connection with me. some at the drop of a dime
Have the gift of making others feel special and my innocence shines through
Still working on self image and trust issues
But I'm "out of my room" and having fun!
