If wishes were fishes
Then what an array there would be!
All flitting and swimming under the sea.
Their lives made by someone's hope for what is to be.

If wishes were fishes
They would be in every color, shape and size!
Following a rhythm they cannot deny.
Trying to see whose the fastest and why.
And which ones purpose is the most wise.

If wishes were fishes
They would all be racing in their little sea,
Trying to see whose dream first will become reality.

If wishes were fishes I would like to see
Which ones will reach their goal,
And which ones will hopelessly fail in toll.
