The room was dark. “Orlando is failing me, who thinks they have what it takes to go up against the new Chosen one?” A female voice asked the people around her. Several moments went by and no one raised their hand. The women frowned at them; suddenly one hand rose into the air. “Damien, you think you have what it takes?”

A man got up from his chair, walked up to her and kneeled before her. “I think that Orlando and his so called gang are a bunch of fools. I will gladly kill the Chosen One, your majesty.” The queen smiled showing her fangs.

“Then the task is yours. However, you are not to kill Orlando, but to take command of him and his gang. Do you understand?” She asked. The man nodded getting up and walked out of the room.

Ice waited until the vampires where close to her until she blew them backwards with a strong gust of wind. She then froze most of them and burned the rest. Lucas walked up to her.

“Your back.” He said shocked.

“Yeah, I guess I don’t owe you anymore for saving my life.” Ice said with a smile. Lucas nodded at her.

“So you managed to bring her back in one piece I see.” Ray said to Faye. Faye glared down at the young teenager.

“Of course I brought her back.” Faye snapped.

“So how are you?” Lucas asked her.

“I’ve slept on the ground ever since I left. I haven’t had a shower and I smell really bad. How do you think I am?” Ice replied. Lucas nodded and Ray laughed forgetting her argument with Faye.

“Come on lets get you home.” Ray told her. Ice nodded as they started to walk out of the park. “Just one minute.” Ray turned around and threw fireballs at the remaining vampire, turning them to dust. “Ok, I feel better now.” They then continued walking out of the park.

“Who’s all at your house?” Ice asked when the house came into view.

“Some of the families that fight the vampires.” Lucas said. “I think they somehow got word that we found you.” Lucas opened the door for Ice, Ray and Faye. “Mum, Ice and Faye are back.”

Karen and Jared ran down the stairs. Jared ran up to Ice and hugged her. Karen just nodded to Faye and then hugged her children.

“Dad, about what I said.” Ice tried to say as she hugged him back.

“I know.” He said.

“I’m sorry.” Ice whispered.

“Mummy.” A little girl yawned from the top of the stairs. She then saw Lucas and Ray. “Lukiss, Rway-Rway.” A toddler yelled from the top of the stairs. Lucas and Ray turned to see a little girl climbing down the stairs. She had dirty blonde hair to her shoulders with blue eyes. She was wearing a nightgown that had The Little Mermaid on it.

“Lily?” The twins said shocked. The toddler ran up to them and hugged their legs. Lucas bent over picking her up and hugging her.

“Hey baby sis. When did you get here?” He asked her.

“A few hours ago.” She replied. Lucas then handed her over to Ray.

“Hey, Lily.” Ray said in a baby voice. Ray hugged her little sister.

“Hi Rway-Rway.” Lily said. She tried her best to say Ray’s name, but just couldn’t yet. Jared led Ice and Faye out of the room.

“Mum, why’s Lily here? Last I heard she was supposed to be with Xander and Dad in Australia.” Lucas asked. Karen looked sadly at Ray and Lucas.

“I haven’t been truthful with you two today.” Karen told them.

“What did Dad send Lily here to be with us?” Ray asked. Lily had fallen asleep on her shoulder.

“Its not just Lily that’s here…your brother Xander is also with us.” Karen admitted.

“Really, where is he?” The twins asked.

“He’s downstairs in the medical lab.” Karen replied.

“What’s wrong with him?” Lucas asked.

“Is Xander alright?” Ray asked.

“He will be alright, just a bump on the head.” Karen told them.

“If they are here, then where’s Dad?” Lucas and Ray both asked. Tears started to gather in Karen’s eyes.

“Your father isn’t here.” She told them.

“Oh ok, we’re goin down to see Xander.” The twins said in unison. They started to walk out the door.

“Your father is dead.” Karen suddenly said. The twins stopped dead in their tracks.

“What?” Lucas whispered.

“Ha, ha nice joke Mum. Dad’s dead for not coming back with Lily and Xander.” Ray laughed. Karen started to cry.

“I’m not joking. One night when they went out to fight the vampires, their Queen fought your father and killed him. She let Xander and Lily go.” Karen told them. Lucas started to punch a wall while Ray gave her sister to Karen and ran out the room. “RAY!”

Ray continued to run, until she was at the park once again. “Dad, you can’t be gone.” Ray yelled. Her eyes turned red and several trees burst into flames.

It suddenly started to rain, Ray looked up to see Ice walked towards her. “Hey.” Ice said.

Ray nodded at her. “What are you doing here and why the hell are you making it rain!?” Ray demanded.

“I’m here to make sure you’re alright and to make sure you don’t burn down the entire place.” Ice replied. Ray glared at her.

“I’m a bloody pyromaniac, that’s what I do. I start fires and burn shit down, so leave me the bloody hell alone.” Ray said. Ice shook her head.

“When my mother died, you and Lucas wouldn’t leave me alone, so I won’t for you.” Ice told her.

“How do you even know my dad is dead?” Ray asked.

“My dad knows.” Ice replied. “How do you feel?” Ray glared at her to the point her eyes turned red once again. “Sorry, dumb question.”

“Ya think.” Ray hissed. “Those asshole vampires! Its not fair, dammit! My dad was always the careful, quiet one. Yet, he is the one that died! It’s not fair!”

“It never is fair, but yet it happens.” Ice tried to explain.

“I hate this world. Those bloody gods and goddess think they can toy with us, like we’re some kind of game. They will do just about anything to get their kicks.” Ray vented.

Ice nodded knowing exactly how Ray was feeling. “I promise you, that I won’t stop until every last one of them is dead!” Ice vowed.
