I don’t suppose that idea of yours,
Is such a wise one.
You see there are many other options,
Of which others might find more agreeable.

I’m not so sure you should do that,
Priding yourself like that.
Pride and pretention go hand in hand,
You see, and this is not desireable.

I think there are better routes than this,
That of self-learning.
You see others might think you ambitious,
And one must never strive for an ideal.

I imagine that’s an improper method,
You’d better find another.
Shoe laces shouldn’t be tied as such,
People might misinterpret these things.

I do say that is quite an odd request,
Of stuff inexcuseable.
Understand that such trifle wants,
They’ll make people think you petty.

I’m not sure that’s a proper fashion,
In which to do that.
Because you see individuality,
Will bring on haters
Of such great passion I don’t believe
You can handle.
Acting with careless whimsy like that,
I can’t say I approve,
For you see there are rules to be followed,
Demanding rules for you,
With which the heart’s evils contradict.

I don’t suppose that idea of yours,
Is such a wise one.
You see that isn’t the way things are done,
In fact your distinction is detestable.
