A/N: Another story, lol. I got too many ideas! Sue me! Lol, no don’t I’m flat broke.
You Make Me Completely Miserable:
You know who he is. But you don’t. He’s that same quiet guy who’s lived across the street. He’s that one that always brings home things that momma might not approve of- and she always wears 3 inched pumps (the girls, not the mom, haha). He was the first one to call you a poopiehead, but you didn’t cry. Instead you called him a bubblebutt and walked away. Now at the time, calling the kid across the street from you a bubblebutt was a very big deal. But now? You are mortified.
He’s the one that is s far out of your reach. He’s something you’ve always wanted but could never have. You want him so bad, but you hate him all the same. You think, “Hey, I’m 16 now. Bubblebutt is nowhere near my vocabulary.” But even so, he will always seem 10 miles away from you.

“Hey Cassie hurry up!”
“All right, all right! Money please?” Cassie asks her older sister as she holds out her hand.
Her sister rolls her eyes and says, “Get the big bag of chips-the biggest!”
Cassie nods and walks off. Her and her sister have these odd and random girls nights-whether they’re out or in, and tonight they’re in. Cassie rapidly walks down the sidewalk in the quiet town of Pierce-laketon, towards the small Market in town. Suddenly colliding into a being so much strong her than her, Cassie falls to the ground.
“Jesus!” the guy says, “What the hell were you speeding down the sidewalk for?!” Cassie rubs her sore elbow and mutters sorry as she pulls herself up.
“Well-well, if it isn’t little Ms. Cassie Rays,” he says condescendingly. She looks up only to be torn to shreds at the very sight of him.
“Well-well,” she mocks him as she places her hands firmly on her hips, “if it isn’t bubblebutt.”
He grins wildly. “In the flesh,” he says as he gestures to himself.
“Please, I’m gonna hafta fight the urge to roll my eyes now.”
“Oh well, don’t try too hard,” he says.
“You know, Adam,” she says as she sizes him up. But she’s nowhere close to his 5 foot 7 inches, for she is merely 5 feet-making it by a quarter. Before Cassie can say anything else about Adam and his ego, a girl coils her very body around him-- oh it’s possible, don’t bother trying to imagine it, you’ll only give yourself a headache.
“Adam,” the girl moans.
‘Oh come on!’ complains Cassie in her mind. Adam hesitates, keeping an eye on Cassie but reluctantly turns to suck face with the flashy snake entwined with him. Cassie rolls her eyes and says, “Please don’t show me the art of whore before my very eyes.”
And with that, the dark-headed female detaches herself from Adam’s lips. Adam is a little shocked by Cassie’s statement; she’s always been known to be a little quiet, except when rallied by him.
Cassie fake smiles at him and says, “I see you’ve found another one,” as she gestures to the girl, “Didn’t take much time, huh?” Cassie then turns to face the all too revealing girl and says, “Congratulations, you’re number 8 this month,” then stopping to look at both, she continues talking to the now angered girl, “Good luck on that.”
Cassie smiles triumphantly at the two and walks away. Adam cracks a small smile and watches her go. The girl who was kissing him-if you wanna call it that-just slaps him. As Cassie walks away, she feels a rush of energy inside her.
Stepping inside of the little market, Cassie heads straight to the snack food isle and grabs a bag of chips-the big one, like her sister had requested-and pays for it. She rushes home so that she doesn’t run into Adam again. Shutting the door behind her, her sister comes out from the living room and grins.
“What?” asks Cassie.
Her sister shakes her head and holds her hands out for the bag of chips and her change.
“What?” Cassie asks again, this time feeling a little agitated. Her sister sighs and shakes her head. “Caroline! If you don’t tell me what, this instant I’m gonna go all the way to New York and tell Aunt Karen about what you did all those nights you came home late!”
Caroline gasped and said, “You wouldn’t!”
Cassie wickedly smiled and nodded. “Oh I would.”
Caroline shook her head and closed her eyes, “Mmm-mmm! You can’t! You’d break her poor heart!”
Cassie sighed and said, “Fine!”
“Besides, she took care of us when mom and dad died when their plane crashed.”
“I know, please don’t remind me….Would you just tell me what is up?!”
Caroline sighs and rolls her eyes, “Oh for crying out loud!... I just saw and heard you yelling at Adam and his new girlfriend, that’s all!”
“Oh,” Cassie says, “Well you coulda told me, shesh!”
“Are we gonna watch movies now or what?”
“Yes, yes, lets go.”
~*~
“Wow that was actually really good,” comments Caroline.
Cassie nods in agreement and says, “But just a tad disturbing.” Caroline nods too.
“Okay, go take out the trash.”
“Yes, master.”
Caroline just smiles and cleans up around the living room. As she pops the movie Frida out of the VCR and places it back into its case, Cassie hauls the garbage bag past the living room.
“Last minute garbage needs to go in now,” says Cassie.
Caroline shoves empty bags of popcorn and candy wrappers into the bag and sets Cassie off. She ties it tightly and throws it over her back. Cassie has a hard time with the trash and nearly falls over a sprinkler.
“Need help with that?” a deep voice asks.
Cassie knows exactly who that is and says, “No thank you! I’m a big girl, I can take care of myself.” She tosses the bag into the bin and stretches after doing so. As she turns around, she almost runs right into him again.
“Could you not!” she shouts.
He smirks and says, “Not what?”
Cassie shakes her head and rolls her eyes as she maneuvers past him and towards her front door where her sister is probably listening from the side of.
“Cassie!” he calls out to her.
“What?” she exasperatedly asks as she turns around.
He half smiles and says, “G’ night.”
She sighs again and nods him away. Sometimes that Adam just makes her so angry. It’s unexplainable, it just happens.
Some things you just don’t question.

That’s all for now, hopefully I’ll have some inspiration to write the next chapter to Cherry Lips, but until then… : )
