Driving Past Tomorrow

By
GameGuy24

She thought I was, a lot like you
I thought as well, things seemed so true
Then you turned around, made that face
Things all changed, hit me with a mace

I'm driving past tomorrow
Into a better future for you
Where people love, people forget
And they realize love is true

They thought that things were beginning
Reality they already had
Only 50 years, left our your life
Do you really want to be so sad?

I was disgraced, my eyes fear
I walked down the street waving at the cars
They honk there horns, shut the hell up
I laugh and walk away

Who needs stop signs? I stop for no one.
Not the children, the cops, or even the ducks.
Not there luck, if I'm driving.
I'm that guy your mommy says to leave alone.

When she slashed my tires
And broke my heart
I thought it had been over from the start
Then she kicked my ass and ran away

The murder was a mystery
Where people died in threes
Kind of like that about that guy who could stand still
Always had three ideas in his head

On my bed
Sleeping till 11
This would be heaven if you were gone
I know that's harsh, but live with it.

They sold my cat.
They sold my pants.
I flipped them off.
That was there chance.

I went for a swim.
I swam away.
Didn't come back for three days
Did I get laid? No.
