A rose
Bloody red
Or
Royal blue
Honeydew yellow
Its promises true
A violent violet
A pearly white
Its leaves translucent
In the radiant light

A rose
Can mean many
Intentions for all
Can break a heart
Or mend one's fall
Deceit
Betrayal
All and more
But we always heed its
Silent call
