Author's Note- This chapter will probably be the shortest one yet, and the last one. I ran at full speed down into the diner that the others were eating in. I bursted into the door. Max looked up in alarm. I ran to them, hugging them all, pulling them out of their seats. "I'm STAYING, I'm STAYING" I screamed. The other people in the diner looked at me like I had escaped a bus for the mentally challenged.

"Jessie, did you hit your head? Are you OK?" Adam asked, a look of genuine concern on his face. I shook my head and grabbed his face with both of my hands.

"I'm STAYING" I shouted, I kissed him on the cheek. David's face immediatly turned glum. The others congratulated me though. We talked for a few minutes, and I was too excited for food. I told them all of my plans, and they agreed that they would all stay here with me.

Finally everyone left the table. I stayed with David who was still looking extremely glum still. "Whats wrong babe?" I asked him, excitement rushing through my body, but I was trying to calm myself down to see what was wrong with him. I took a sip of his vanilla milkshake and slid it back across the table to him, he pushed it back to me.

"Nothing" he insisted. "Keep the milkshake" he said standing up. I put my hand on his arm.

"Sit down David" I saw that he was about to argue "I need you to" I pleaded. He sighed and sat back down into his chair.

"What is wrong David?" Before he could tell me there was nothing wrong I stopped him "Don't tell me 'Nothing' I won't buy it. I know you better than that sweety" I told him. He sighed and looked at me for a minute.

"Jessie, its great that your parents are letting you stay here. I mean, I'm happy for you. Its just---Jessie we were going to do this together? And the rest of you can, but I can't because I'm only seventeen and I have to go home." he told me. I looked at him for a moment. I'd forgotten.

"David, there is no way we'll leave you out!" I told him. I touched his cheek, it was cold. He flinched and it hurt my feelings, but then his hand covered mine on his cheek. We sat like that for a second before he dropped our hands like they were hot coals and he began rubbing his head.

"How can you NOT?" he asked me.

"I'll go back with you, anything you want. You turn 18 in just a two weeks---I'll go back with you" I told him. He smiled at me sadly.

"Jessie, stay here. I'll be OK, and maybe when I get the money to do it I'll come back" he told me.

"I swear to God David, if you leave this table I'll cut you out of my Will!" I told him, trying to crack a joke. It worked, he smiled a bit. "I won't send you back to North Carolina alone" I whispered. At that moment, I don't know what compelled me to do it, but I leaned across the table and touched my lips to his. The moment that passed as we kissed seemed like the most natural thing in the world to me. When the kiss broke I grinned at him and he grinned back. "Believe me?" I asked him. He smiled at me and nodded.

"I believe you" he told me whispered.

Author's Note- It's over! I don't know whether to celebrate or cry! Ah well, REVIEW, and tell me what you want the sequel about, or if you actually want a sequel. : ) I'm feeling so happy and lovey right now. THAT WAS CUTE!!! Admit it now!
