Angel of the Bridge
By writerforever
Strange and mysterious it is
Haunting and beautiful the still waters seem
Glorious and bright on the water the sun beams
Secrets and unknown wishes are in beaded in the wooden floor
Old is the bridge but so full of memories it is
It was there on the bridge you appeared
Beautiful and graceful you stood
Like a shining angel you stood out in the darkness
Small and white was your hand as it reached out for mine
You pulled me out of the darkness and into the light
With humbleness and kindness you showed me what life really is
Like an angel you surrounded me with your wings of love
Lost and alone I once was
Darkness was my path until you came and rescued me
You rescued me from my insanity
Your love and kindness made me who I am today
You are my angel, my angel of the bridge
