To carry me on through life

They may be damaged

But they are mine

To me, their presence keeps me going

Keeps me flying in my heart

I’ve gone to other worlds, my mind expanding through their aura

I’ve seen what others miss, thinking it’s just nothing, no matter, a small care

I’ve spoken to what others never thought they could converse with

They never understood

They never tried to witness the false realms of reality

But my broken wings led me to it

And I have dreamed.
