What is this I feel,
Welling up inside of me?
It is so intense,
Like freezing, burning, energy.

Why am I so glad,
Even though it frightens me?
I can't quite comprehend
This freezing, burning, energy.

What am I to do?
It is taking over me.
I can't seem to cure

My whole life has changed,
Is this really, truly me?
There is nothing left
