You make me happy
Can't you see?
When I'm with you
I find myself smiling
Sometimes laughing
But always feeling good
I wish we were closer
Maybe better friends
Maybe even more?
I'm afraid of the outcome, though
I dont want to get hurt
But, even more, I don't want to hurt you
I don't want to lose you
Or lose our friendship
I wish I could forget that
Just long enough to risk it
So I'd stop thinking pessimistically
Abd envision smiling
Or maybe some laughter
But always feeling good
