your music clashes in my ears
thoughts my jumbling all place over
makingthingsruntogether
mnixig iton oen aonrteh
homogenously
one melody soothing and familar,
the other fresh and new,
both appealing and
send me reeling,
discordant and harmonious,
melodic but dissonant,
the two clamor in my head,
until i clasp my ears,
close my eyes,
and it ceases.
