Beautiful Night

The moon glows with a sort of magic,
Enchanting,
Entrancing
With its silvery sparkle.
The silence was complete.
A peaceful silence,
As if there's nothing in the world
But the simmering sky,
The cool night air,
The pale flowers fading to shadows,
The torch flames reaching to the heavens.
She stops for a moment,
Gazing around the beautiful garden.
Reflecting the light of the dancing fire,
Her pale green eyes fix in a trance.
Soft music drifting from afar,
She smiles.
