Another one to take literally. Felt strange to write this: Almost a self-justification.

If you think I haven't fought for you
On council estates, in grammar schools
You're wrong, you know I did, I do
I'll always fight against the fools.

If you think I haven't bled for you
In beds, on floors or in the park
You forget the day I battled through
To give you light, despite the dark.

The battle's lost, but I have won
Through smoke and scent of sparkling wine
And if you think that I am done
Just watch me as I draw the line

You promised me I wouldn't have to die
On streets or inside my own mind
And yet I've proved, that all that I
Can do is try so hard to find

My innocence.
I think it may be lost.
