|chocohol|What's 'living on your own' class? Is it like P.S.H.E? |
|ic |(Don't take drugs, don't catch sexually transmitted |
|2004-08-|dieseases and remember to wear a bicycle helmet?) |
|23 |Anyway, you make a good point about how that programme |
|ch 1, |isn't working. And I agree with another reveiwer who said |
|signed |it's partly un-equal distribution of funds. |
| |But with our school, it was that they got given a lot of |
| |money but told they could only use it in specific ways. |
| |One of these was: have electronic registers because it |
| |will help solve truency! WHAT?! |
| |Sorry, I ramble. A very good essay maybe you should send |
| |it too your local govt., tell them to get their act |
| |together. |
|My |It's just telling you how you can live on your own. It's |

|TaraErin|I don't know much about this "No Child Left Behind" thing,|
| |since I'm Australian, but I can relate to the 'overcrowded|
|2004-08-|classes and lack of facilities' issue. I too go to what is|
|23 |considered a 'good' school, yet we have overcrowded |
|ch 1, |classes, not enough teachers and minimal facilities. The |
|signed |Aussie liberal (read:conservative) government, being great|
| |lovers of all things american, probably saw your |
| |government screwing over its youth and thought 'hey, that |
| |looks fun, let's do it too'. |
| |What is worse is that some schools in some areas actually |
| |do have it a lot better than us, which leads me to believe|
| |that the problem is perhaps not with a lack of funding, |
| |but with the inequality of the distribution of funds. |
| |hehe, yeah, got a bit sidetracked there. Good essay, and a|
| |very important issue. |
| |Cheers |
|My |Amusing..and yes. It isn't exactly spread equally. |

|C Shot |Odd, my school is perfectly fine. We get a good twenty |
|2004-08-|five students per class, and my class is the biggest one |
|22 |the school has ever had. I think the problem with your |
|ch 1, |school isnt the no child left behind, it's the lack of |
|signed |your state government from stepping up to the occasion. |

|My |Blame it on Shwartzenagger, lol. But seriously, it's the |

|JT |The No Child Left Behind Act was, for the most part, an |
|Higgins |act to create standards and children were going to be |
| |tested to see if they met those standards. It has been |
|2004-08-|severely underfunded (twenty-seven billion dollars). |
