I stand alone
In a dark hallway
Not able to move,
Helpless
But,
There is a light
A pure, white light
There you stand
Amidst all darkness
Standing there
Alone
Yet safe
I try to reach
But it doesn't do any good
I cannot move
As hard as I may try
You step back
With a sad look
A small tear
Running down your face
You turn to leave
But something holds you back
I grab my chance
And say
As loud
As I can muster
With all my energy
"Won't you wait for me??"
But I don't think
You hear
My cries
Again, I try
And shout
But you just walk away..
Out of sight
Forever will you be gone
Away from my sight,
My touch
In heaven..
