anti-social
I nod to people
in the halls
but I don't say Hi
unless they say it first.
Otherwise,
I'm in my room,
quietly typing poetry.
I am the anti
social butterfly.
I don't like crowds;
I only have
so many friends,
or, perhaps, so few?
But I am content.
So leave me
in my gathering gloom,
and if I deem you worthy,
I'll say Hello to you.
Just don't hold your breath.
